• Women in Technology has become its own movement beyond the standard DEI efforts in the market and progress is a constant but slow shift as organizations continue the painstaking exercise of removing bias from their hiring process.  Looking across the female tech talent in the US today, there are only ten markets in which the gender diversity is over 35% female for the entire tech population:

    8. Dallas
    9. Los Angeles
    10. Houston

Are many local employers doing all of the right things to hit that target? Absolutely! But its definitely still a combination of that effort and the sheer volume of employers and hiring demand for tech talent in those locations that give them the bragging rights.   Every employer in every market can continue to make strides and push the needle on this one!
